Who or What is Natalus?



Natalus is a Brand owned by Security Warehouse India Pvt Ltd. Security Warehouse is launching a range of CCTV Products under the Natalus Brand Name. The team of Security Warehouse have more than 100 years of cumulative experience in the Electronic Security Business Space and have been in operation in India for over 10 years. Security Warehouse India Pvt Ltd in the past 10 years have introduced to India some of the finest technologies available globally in the Electronic Security Domain.



What are the types of Cameras Provided by Natalus?



The Natalus Range of Cameras come in 4 basic types, Domes, Box, Bullet and PTZ formats. The Range of 2MP,4MP,5MP, 8MP and 12MP as of now.
The PTZ is available in 2MP & 4MP formats with IR and Non-IR formats are also available.
Natalus also provides a range of 2MP Cameras having 60fps.

How are Natalus Cameras different from others?

Will Natalus Cameras work with Third Party VMS?



All Natalus Cameras are ONVIF compliant and will work with any Third Party ONVIF Compliant VMS.



Does Natalus have its own recorders?



Natalus has its own range of Network Video Recorders. Natalus recorders are capable of recording both high resolution and low resolution streams simultaneously. The advantage of recording dual stream is the capability to review recordings using a remote CMS using low bandwidth and similar to reducing bandwidth during live view.



Can Natalus recorders be used with Third Party IP Cameras?



Natalus recorders will be able to record any ONVIF Profile S compliant Third Party IP Camera.



What is the Warranty of Natalus Cameras?



All Natalus Cameras provide a 2 year warranty from date of shipment. Extended Warranty is available as an option at extra cost.



How can we calculate Storage requirements using Natalus NVR?



The best way is to send a mail to [email protected] with details of the project, including number of cameras, resolution of cameras, frame rate of recording, type of recording ( motion or continuous ) if motion based then number of hours of activity in front of camera and finally the number of days of storage required. The Team at Natalus will provide you with the best numbers. Should you need third party calculators one can look up this link.



Can we integrate Third Party Intrusion Alarms to Natalus?



Any Third Party Device can be integrated to the Natalus NVR through the Alarm Inputs provided. The Natalus NVR can also provide relay outputs to Third Party Devices. For example even a POS unit can be interfaced with the Natalus NVR.

Do we need external lighting when using Natalus cameras?



Natalus cameras use Sony Starvis Sensors for outstanding image quality even with low light levels. All Natalus Cameras have in-built IR illuminators which is designed for providing IR illumination to cover the area under surveillance as per the lens used by the Camera.



What is the Power requirement of Natalus Cameras?



All Natalus Cameras are PoE compliant to IEEE 802.3af or can be powered by 12VDC, 1.5Amp external Power Supplies. The PTZ Range needs an external Power Supply.



Which Hard Drives are recommended by Natalus for its NVR?



We recommend Enterprise Class Drives , however one can also use Surveillance Class Hard Drives. Our NVR has been tested with Seagate, Western Digital and Toshiba for reliability and you can use any size of Hard Drive. Surveillance Grade Hard Drives typically are available upto 10TB of Storage while Enterprise class provide higher storage.
